WooCommerce SEO Images

Why do you need Woocommerce SEO images?

The primary goal of each online business is ranking in the search engines. Google and other major search engines that use algorithms that look at all sorts of factors and metadata associated with the images on your site can really help put you at the top.

And our plugin Woocommerce SEO Images will help you optimize the ALT and TITLE attributes for all images on product pages.

The plugin automatically updates the ALT and TITLE attributes on each image to provide optimal SEO benefits using a variety of products related to the product, including title, description, category, and even tags.

To make it easy for Google to index each image Woocommerce SEO Images automatically creates an XML Image Sitemap and adds the images to the sitemap. It gives you the right format to be added to your webmaster tool account.

How does this magic work?

Although many know how important ALT and TITLE attributes are for images, we can now forget to add them manually when uploading images to products as it is still in the past with Woocommerce SEO Images. The plugin automatically adds the optimal ALT and TITLE attributes to all images as for all newly uploaded images and those already submitted (so you do not have to do this manually).
We offer a wide range of opportunities to help you build a powerful tool and get the opportunity to get a higher rank.

You can create multiple sets of rules that allow you to specify which pages or sets of pages the images will be optimized. Alternatively, you can use an exclusion rule to specify areas that you do not need the plugin to work, it's magical.

You can even allow / exclude specific product categories and specific products.

How to install

Woocommerce SEO Images are installed as the usual WordPress plugins. You can learn more about installing WordPress plugins here.

After activation, you can find the plugin settings page in the Woocommerce> Settings> SEO Images menu.

Plugin Settings

Enable SEO images – This option Enables / disables plug-in features.

Images XML Sitemap – The plugin automatically creates the Google-compatible XML Sitemap that you can submit to Google (through webmaster tools) to automatically add all your photos to the Google index.

Protect against Iframe Call – Normally when images appear in Google images search, your image will appear in an iframe from Google. This option removes iframe, so when you click on the image, it remains the visitor to your site. It will increase your pageviews (but may also increase your frustration).

Ping search engines – With this option the plugin will automatically ping Google, Bing, Ask, Yasiy whenever the sitemap will be updated.

ColorBox Style – Here you can choose which style to use for ColorBox popup (for viewing images).

SEO rules

Label – Optional title on SEO rule only to see by admin.

Add Photo ALT Attribute – All the attributes are used to describe the contents of an image file and are the most important part of the image SEO.

Add Photo TITLE Attribute – The title attribute is used to show text to the user when they float over the image.

Woocommerce SEO Images supports the next replacements that you can use to define the ALT and TITLE attributes:

{} POST_TITLE – replaces product title

{} Post_desc – replaces product description

{} Image_name – replaces image file name (without extension)

{category} – replaces product category

{Tags} – replaces product tags

Override – This setting instructs Woocommerce SEO Images to override your old ALT and Title attributes.

Rule Type – Include rule applies only to selected rule settings. Exclude rule applies to the entire site excluding selected rule settings.

Rule applied to pages – This option allows you to select pages where the rule should be used.

Rule used for categories – This option allows you to select product categories for which the rule is to be applied. If not selected rule, all product categories will be applied.

Rule used for products – This option allows you to select Products for which the rule is to be used. If not selected rule, all products will be applied for.

Internal images – Internal images are images that are linked to the current product. These are the most pictures you upload to your product. You can choose how you want Woocommerce SEO Images to handle links to these images.

External images – This setting applies to all non-attached images (uploaded to the current product). These can be pictures just added using the URL of the image file (in most cases externally linked images).

Available options are:

Leave as it is – Do not do anything with links.

Post – Link to image post

attachment side – Link to the image attachment page

picture – Link to the image file In this case you also have ColorBox preview.

Here's an explanation of how to configure a popular setup. Images in products on your home / store pages must link to the products themselves, but when viewed in a single product, click on the image if you want to see it in a good color box.

To create this, set the Auto Link Internal Photos to Image File rules and enable ColorBox setting.

You will then add an exception rule, select only store page (do not select product page) and select Automatic link internal images to Posts.
