Trendy Gradients in Web Design
This year we saw several multicolored gradients with vibrant color palettes and irregular shapes with blurring and distortion effects. Gradients are currently used in many ways, but the most characteristic, in terms of trends, is used to expand into secondary elements within the composition, such as surprise, titles, elements, icons and more.
Gradients have been trendy for some time, initially returning to a conventional way in backgrounds and images. Spotify made them popular again by using duotone gradients over photo's as a distinctive element of the brand in its campaigns and micro-sites.
Our designers also applied duotone gradients to the Savemart Design, hoping to bring something new and unique.
